What is Vacqueyras?

Vacqueyras is one of the 17 Crus of the Rhône Valley. The vineyard is located east of the town of Orange in the southern Rhône Valley, near the Dentelles de Montmirail.

The climate is warm mediterranean (long, hot and dry summer, rain in winter, low continentality, average temperature between 18.5°C and 21°C during the vine growing season).

More than 30 % of the production is exported. Major markets include the United States, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
