Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise AOP
Muscat de-Beaumes-de-Venise AOP is an appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley. It produces a majority of white VDNs from muscat blanc à petits grains, but some red VDNs from muscat à petits grains rouges are also produced.
White Muscat de-Beaumes-de-Venise are medium-bodied with medium acidity, showing aromas of orange blossom and peach and reaching 15% abv. They are never aged oxidatively.

Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise is a French Protected Designation of Origin (PDO or AOP in French) located in the Southern Rhône Valley, on the southern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail.
The climate is warm mediterranean, with dry summers, especially because the Dentelles de Montmirail protect the region from the mistral, a cold wind blowing from the north.
The appellation covers 500 hectares and produces 12 000hl of wine per year.
