Bordeaux wine region is located in the south-west of France. It represents more than 117,000 ha of vines, i.e. about 30% of French vineyard!

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and by the Gironde Estuary to the northwest, and crossed by the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, the region benefits from a moderate maritime climate. 

The appellations Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur can be produced throughout all region. These two appellations alone are responsible for 50 % of the volume produced in the region.
